At the heart of the wonderful care we provide at Water Mill House in Hemel Hempstead is our compassionate team formed of nurses, carers, managers and team leaders and members of our wider support team such as catering, housekeeping, lifestyles and front of house.
Lead by our amazing home manager Victoria, all of our team members are carefully chosen for their values and unwavering dedication to caring for our residents with tenderness, kindness and respect. We nurture and invest in them, ensuring they feel valued, happy, and love being part of our extended family.
Our focus on creating a wonderful home in which to live and work means we are able to retain the very best team members, with many of them being part of our home life for a number of years.
This, in turn, helps us to provide consistency for residents and exceptional care, through people who value the same things we do, receive ongoing training, support and recognition, and are skilled and confident. Our team understands each individual resident, who they are, and what they need to lead happy and fulfilling lives.
This compassionate approach is also extended to people looking for care for a loved one, as well as our residents’ families, helping and supporting them through what can be a very emotional time.
