Noelia’s career began in 2000 when she completed her nursing degree and began working in the NHS. Since then she has gained a wealth of experience as a nurse in both public and private hospitals, as well as a clinical director, unit manager, deputy manager and, since 2017, as our registered home manager.
Believing nursing was something she was born to do, her passion for caring for others shines throughout our home. She loves listening to residents’ life stories and learning from them, whilst supporting all of our team members to provide loving care for everyone who lives with us.
Born in a small Portuguese village, Noelia’s younger years were spent with her younger sister helping their father in his coffee shop whilst their mum worked as a seamstress.
Now, as a wife to Paulo, who she’s known since she was 14, and mum of three to her son Daniel, daughter Ines and pampered Chihuahua Gucci, when she’s not at Water Mill House, her spare time is spent caring for her family, reading, knitting and travelling.
Speaking about Water Mill House Noelia said: “I love working as part of a team. They are always so caring and compassionate, making residents’ time at our home so special. The happiness that resonates around the home warms my heart every day.”
